About ICRQE 2024
UniMAP is an engineering university whose role is to produce highly skilled engineers dedicated in fulfilling and supporting the National Industrial Master Plan. Through the establishment of Institute of Engineering Mathematics (IMK), it is hoped that the aspiration can be made a better reality. IMK is responsible for the construction of the latest curriculum, strengthening of mathematics in teaching and learning in UniMAP, and research that relates mathematics in engineering which able to benefit the society.
In an attempt to gain recognition and a place among similar institutions in the education sector, locally and globally, IMK definitely needs to have a platform that takes part in highlighting and implementing its role as a research, education, development and community service institution. Thus, ICRQE 2024 is expected to give an opportunity to IMK to promote its ability and to prove its strength as a teaching and learning, and research institute globally.
The ICRQE was initially held in 2011 conducted by the Quality Engineering Society (QES) in Japan. The recent one was the 5th International Conference on Robust Quality Engineering 2021 (ICRQE 2021) which was successfully organised by Robust Quality Engineering Society of Japan (RQES), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Genichi Taguchi Center of UTM, American Supplier Institute, Inc and ITEQ International Japanese Standards Association on June, 2024 in Tokyo, Japan.
IMK have successfully organised seven conferences for the past decade, starting with the First Regional Conference on Applied & Engineering Mathematics (RCAEM-I) in 2010 and the recent one was International Conference on Mathematics, Engineering and Industrial Applications 2022 (ICoMEIA 2022). Therefore, it is no doubt that IMK in conjunction with The Global Trends in Engineering, Science & Technology Congress 2024 (GTEST2024) on 2 & 3 September 2023 is able to conduct the 6th International Conference on Robust Quality Engineering 2024 (ICRQE 2024) in collaboration with American Supplier Institute, Inc., RQES of Japan, Japan Standard Association, Meiji University, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), ICRQE International Committee and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
