During the recent Ramadan 1447H/2026M, INEE organized the Sentuhan Kasih INEE program. As in previous years, this program aims to help alleviate the living burdens of several asnaf (underprivileged) families around Seriab, Kangar.
Contributions in the form of groceries and cash were presented to the identified families. It is hoped that this small gesture from INEE will, to some extent, help ease the families’ burdens as they welcome Ramadan and Aidilfitri.
Our gratitude goes out to JPKKP Seriab, especially the Chairman of JPKKP Seriab, Tn. Hj. Yusof bin Ahmad, and all INEE staff involved in making this program a success.

On 13 December 2025, the Institute of Nano Electronic Engineering (INEE) was invited to participate in a research product exhibition, promotion, and STEM activities in conjunction with the Cahaya Prihatin Program: Electricity for the Community 2025.
The program was organized by the Strategic Academic Cooperation Division (SACD), Academic Management Centre (AMC), Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), in collaboration with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) through the Malaysia Energy Literacy Program (MELP). Its objective was to enhance energy literacy among the local community in Padang Besar, Perlis.
The program was held at Kampung Utara Malaysia, Padang Besar, Perlis, and involved active participation from the surrounding community. INEE was invited as a STEM exhibitor to promote academic programs and science- and technology-related activities offered by UniMAP.
The event began with a welcoming address by the Honourable Vice-Chancellor of UniMAP, followed by the officiating speech by YB Tuan Haji Akmal Nasrullah bin Mohd Nasir, Deputy Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA).
Throughout the program, various activities were conducted, including a coloring competition, STEM exhibitions, robotics exhibitions, electrical safety talks, crossword puzzle activities, and electricity-saving awareness activities. These activities not only provided early exposure to the community to STEM fields but also increased awareness of safe and prudent use of electrical energy.
