On 24 June 2025, INEE welcomed a visit from the Research Management Centre (PPP), Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). The visit was led by Prof. Dr. Jumat Sulaiman, Director of PPP, UMS. Also present were Dr. Ervin Gubin Moung, Deputy Director (Operations), Pn. Rohani Hadi, Senior Assistant Registrar of PPP, UMS, and Prof. Ts. Dr. Uda Hashim.
Among the key discussions were collaborative research grants, joint journal publications, organisation of TVET workshops, and international conference hosting. It is hoped that the proposed initiatives will yield fruitful outcomes and mutual benefits for both parties.
