The Institute of Nano Electronic Engineering has been awarded BioNexus Partner (BNP) Laboratory Status by the Malaysian Bioeconomy Development Corporation Sdn. Bhd., an agency under MOSTI, on July 17, 2024. This award ceremony was officiated by the Deputy Minister of MOSTI, YB Dato’ Haji Mohammad Yusof Bin Apdal. The ceremony was held in conjunction with the National Bioeconomy Showcase 2024 (NBioSHOWCASE) which was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim.
Congratulations to Ts. Jasni Mohamed Ismail on the promotion to Vocational Training Officer Grade DV48, effective 1 July 2024.

The Institute of Nano Electronic Engineering (INEE) received a collaborative research visit from researchers of the Functional Materials & Nanotechnology CoE, Walailak University, Thailand, on June 5, 2024. This visit was led by Associate Professor Dr. Kotchaphan. Various research activities were planned, including joint grant applications and postgraduate student supervision. Thanks also to the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering & Electronic Technology (FKTEN), Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Siti Khadijah Za’aba. May this visit and discussion benefit all involved.
The Institute of Nano Electronic Engineering (INEE) received a collaboration visit from PSN College of Engineering and Technology an Autonomous Institution, India, on June 4, 2024. The discussions included the joint organization of the 2nd ICONMAR 2025 next year, outbound/inbound mobility for staff and students, dual degree programs, and joint appointments of postgraduate students. Hopefully, this visit will yield fruitful results. Thank you.
