On August 12, 2024, a document exchange ceremony for the MoU between INEE, UniMAP and IPB University took place at Swiss-Belresort Belitung, Indonesia. IPB University is ranked #426 according to the QS World University Rankings and is also #4 overall in Indonesia. This ceremony was held in conjunction with the International Conference on Interdisciplinary Physics (ICIPs) 2024, jointly organized by IPB University and INEE. It is hoped that this collaboration will have a positive impact on both parties.
STEM With Community at FESTKON UniMAP 2023
On November 21, 2023, several staff members from the Institute of Nano Electronic Engineering (INEE) were involved in the success of STEM with Community as part of the UniMAP Convocation Festival (FESTKON UniMAP 2023).
Research Collaboration Between INEE and Thaksin University
Institute of Nano Electronic Engineering (INEE) have established a research collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering, Thaksin University (TSU) in Thailand. The visit of the Director of INEE on 2nd – 3rd March 2023, together with the researchers from Faculty of Chemical Engineering & Technology and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering & Technology have received a very warm welcome from the TSU top management and researchers, led by Associate Professor Dr. Samak Kaewsuksaeng, Vice President for Research and Innovation, Dr. Khwanchit Suwannoppharat, Assistant to the President for International Relations Affairs, and also Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and the Dean of Faculty of Sciences. The collaboration will be centered around the matching research grant, join publication and student mobility.
UTeM Visit and Research Discussions with INEE Researchers
On January 29, 2019, Institute of Nano Electronic Engineering (INEE) received a visit from the Micro & Nano Electronic Research Group (RG MiNE), Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM). This group consists of 10 people who are also UTeM staff.
In this visit, INEE has provided an encouraging and clear picture to RG MiNE on the state of laboratory and research facilities available at INEE.
With this, it is possible to establish cooperation between UniMAP and UTeM from the aspect of research development among Malaysian Technical University Network (MTUN).
