The atmosphere on Saturday, 2 August 2025, at Kolej Kediaman Tuanku Tengku Fauziah, UniMAP, was lively with the organisation of the STEM Open Day Kampung Sena @ UniMAP: Bringing STEM Knowledge to the Community.

The Institute of Nano Electronic Engineering (INEE) also participated as a facilitator, bringing a variety of fun and mind-challenging STEM activities. Students and the local community were visibly excited and delighted as they had the chance to try out STEM games themselves while gaining knowledge in a more relaxed and interactive way.

The Institute of Nano Electronic Engineering (INEE), UniMAP, was invited to participate in the STEM Carnival at Sekolah Menengah Sains Kubang Pasu on 3 September 2025 (Wednesday).

Through the exhibition held, INEE had the opportunity to showcase STEM-based products and innovations, while also providing exposure that sparked students’ interest in the importance of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in everyday life. 🚀🔬📐

The students were also visibly excited and enthusiastic when given the chance to engage in various STEM-related games that challenged their minds, thus enhancing their understanding in a more enjoyable way.

A research visit to the Institute of Nano Electronic Engineering (INEE) on 4 September 2025 was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wan Izhan Nawawi bin Wan Ismail, Deputy Rector (Research & Innovation), UiTM Perlis Branch, Arau Campus.

Also present were Prof. Dr. Mahidin A. Taleb (Universitas Syiah Kuala, Aceh), Assoc. Prof. Wibawa Hendra Saputera (Bandung Institute of Technology), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Md. Uwaisulqarni Osman (Universiti Malaysia Terengganu), Dr. Zuliahani Ahmad (UiTM Perlis) and Ms. Ommy Madina Abdul Halim (UiTM Perlis).

This visit served as a platform to strengthen academic collaboration and knowledge sharing at both regional and international levels.

The participation of staff from the Institute of Nano Electronic Engineering (INEE), Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) as co-organiser in the IEEE International Conference on Sensors & Nanotechnology (SENNANO 2025). 🎉

This prestigious conference also features Prof. Sir Konstantin “Kostya” Novoselov, the 2010 Nobel Laureate in Physics for the revolutionary discovery of graphene, as the Plenary Speaker. His presence opens up vast opportunities for participants to gain deeper insights into the latest advancements in 2D materials, nanotechnology, and their future applications.

Furthermore, the conference brings together 6 Keynote Speakers and 3 Invited Speakers with extensive expertise in sensors and nanotechnology, making SENNANO 2025 a premier platform for knowledge exchange, innovative ideas, and global research collaboration opportunities.
